Hey,

I'm David.

I’m a photographer with a passion for wildlife, nature, and the moments that often disappear in an instant. I’m drawn to the challenge of capturing animals in their natural environment—from the speed of a hummingbird in flight to the power of a bird of prey on the hunt. Through my photography, I hope to preserve those moments and share the beauty of the natural world with others.

BEHIND THE LENS

My approach to photography begins with patience and observation. Wildlife rarely follows a script, and some of the most memorable photographs happen in a fraction of a second. Learning an animal’s behavior, anticipating its movement, and being ready when that moment arrives are as important to me as the camera itself.

I’m especially drawn to birds and wildlife in motion, where timing, light, and behavior come together in ways that can never be perfectly repeated. Whether I’m photographing close to home or exploring a new landscape, my goal is the same: create an image that feels authentic to the moment and worthy of being preserved as a print.

Capturing moments that cannot be repeated.

Wildlife photography is about more than simply recording what was there. I look for the instant when behavior, movement, light, and composition come together to create something that feels alive.

My goal is to turn those fleeting encounters into photographs that can be experienced again—images that reveal the character of the animal, tell a story, and bring a piece of the natural world into someone’s home.
